If i am deploying it using Casper, do I need to check off "Require Admin password for installation"? I asume so as it is touching the Application folder. So without a doubt it is not working as intended. postinstall: hdiutil: detached failed - no such file or directory postinstall: installer: Error the package path specified was invalid: ''. I see things like this is the install.log I am leveraging Casper so I was not sure if there was something that needs to be done differently to the created package in order for it to work, but just running the. The new version of Pulse Secure 5.2R4 is obviously named different than the Junos name, so in the script i renamed what I believe is correct. I know i am doing something wrong, as I am kinda flying blind with this. I have followed guide, and it does not work for me.īeing a new person to Mac, I am taking the unlikely road of "hey just take what he did and rename a few things and hope it sticks" If you decide to do the same as I did please Proceed at your own risk, what worked for me may not work reliably for you.I have just been tasked with trying to get this to work. This also doesn't fix the HDCP Issue of iTunes or Safari. Rebooting worked fine after that at least into macOS High Sierra I have not tested it with bootcamp yet. also the -p 0 means its the first interface so for computers with non and graphics it works fine if you have another AMD graphics card you may want to find the port first which is you runĪlso bios.rom is the filename for the vbios you will be flashing. This will run the flashing forcefully so run with caution. make sure you copy and or rename the reference bios to the same folder as the flashing tool. I first saved a copy of my cards factory bios and then tried to flash it using the gui and it gave me a rather common error "Submodule mismatch" so I ran it via a admin command prompt window. I used a MacBook Air with a bootcamp windows 10 partition (not best method but all I was able to do having only access to Macs), the latest ATIFLash utility. I recently flashed my Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8GB (it is a different build with a different part number)with the publicly available vbios for the reference card the Apple Developer Kit uses and it is now recognized by macOS in the about my Mac window automatically. I also don’t just want to rename the R9 XXX strong because that doesn’t do anything but a cosmetic change. I have tried changing the amd9500.kext CFG_FB_LIMIT to the number of ports total 5 and just the dvi port 1 as some people mentioned from its default value of 0 and it didn’t work like some people stated it would. I already bricked one card with flashing the vbios and I’m not doing that again. I am wondering if MacOS won’t identify my card even with some form of kext mod is the sonnet Egfx rx580 bundle the same as the Apple developer kit and would it even be recognized in 10.13.2 with a thunderbolt 2 connection. I am using an Apple thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter and an akitio node enclosure it always detects the card as r9 xxx when it’s not that. I think it may have come factory overclocked but am not certain. I have a retina MacBook Pro 13” 2015 model and I have yet to get my Mac to recognize my graphics card it is a dual hdmi and DisplayPort with a dvi port also.
